Transform Transport: Systematica’s Latest Publication
Systematica launches its latest publication, entitled “Transform Transport”. The publication contains accounts of more than 25 years of work, with a special focus on the recent years in which research efforts were relentless, pushing the boundaries of urban mobility science and transport planning tools and principles.
Work published ranges in scale, complexity and locations, stretching from Kuala Lumpur to Lima, including today’s mega cities like Mumbai, Dubai, Riyadh, Tehran, Istanbul, Moscow, Rome, Milan, Paris, and several others. The publication is structured around a series of articles on transport challenges from the National transport planning scale all the way to the human scale, looking into individual movements in crowded situations, effects of spatial perception on movement patterns and several other issues that we all, planners, designers and promoters, face every day.
