Cube software, an evolution of Trips, enables the modelling of the whole process of transport analysis, from ‘four-step’ models (generation, distribution, modal distribution and assignment) to more complex user defined models. It enables demand/offer analysis in situations both with and without traffic congestion. It works on different territorial scales from small urban location to regional dimension.
The software allows sophisticated analysis of public transport systems; the evaluation of the effects caused by the presence of intermodal car parks and the estimation of the consequences of parking price policies and vehicular traffic reduction.
