Profile

One of Systematica’s standout features is its strength of design and proposals, a result of combining the features of a traditional engineering company with those of a town planning studio. The former provides technical answers to specialist questions, using the most advanced technology available; whereas the latter is a hub of creative power, which creates innovative, yet highly functional, solutions.

History

"One muggy Milanese Wednesday in 1989, in the shadow of the spires of the Duomo, Systematica was born.

At a table in a restaurant with two dear friends – Hugh Neffendorf, gourmet, golfer, director of MVA and Mario Rodriguez, demiurge of ‘fare, fare bene, farlo sapere’ [do, do well, make it known], – we took a decision that would change my professional life for ever. We scribbled an agreement on a napkin with which Hugh granted me the distribution rights in Italy for some of the most advanced traffic-planning software available. His company was the producer and Mario and I had chosen it five years previously to compose the Traffic Master Plan for Sardinia. This incredible adventure began so simply, in the most informal and entertaining way, but now Systematica is at the forefront of the Italian and international scene with a solid reputation earn through rigorous expertise, scientific commitment and professional knowledge".
