Grasbrook District Urban Regeneration Competition

Systematica joins Herzog & de Meuron on their first site visit for the Grasbrook development in Hamburg on September 18th and 19th. The working team led by Herzog & de Meuron is one of six other teams that are competing on this project.

The challenges posed by the regeneration of this area are manifold and Systematica will be focusing on all mobility issues that represent one of the most challenging components of the future district.

Grasbrook district located opposite of HafenCity is a completely new district for the rapidly growing city of Hamburg that will include mixed-use spaces and provides the city with a great opportunity to find sustainable solutions for urban structures and mobility.
