AET Hackaton 2026

The second edition of the AET Hackathon will take place on 15-16 May 2026 in Rome, Italy.

Organized in collaboration with the Association for European Transport (AET) and NET Engineering, this year’s event will focus on night-time mobility.

Participants will explore how cities function after dark, rethinking mobility, public space, and accessibility at night through data, design, technology and policy. The night becomes a lens to reveal gaps and design more equitable cities.

The winning team will present their solution at the European Transport Conference, with free access and the opportunity to connect with leading transport professionals from across Europe.
