Systematica is part of the interdisciplinary team led by BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group and commissioned by the Albanian Investment Corporation (AIC) in collaboration with the National Territorial Planning Agency (AKPT), which has won the international design competition for Faith Park, a 200,000 sqm public park located on the green highlands south of Tirana, Albania.

The park takes the form of a genealogical tree of faith, beginning from a shared point in the valley and extending outward along three distinct routes. These paths guide visitors through a sequence of gardens, olive groves, and forested slopes, ultimately leading to nine interconnected pavilions, each devoted to a unique spiritual tradition.

Systematica collaborated closely with the architects in the development of the project’s mobility strategy, providing expertise on how movement, accessibility, and public space interact within the site. Our work focused on enhancing internal walkability and circulation, promoting sustainable low-impact mobility services, and ensuring that pedestrian routes are intuitive, comfortable, and seamlessly integrated with the landscape vision and the Faith Park experience.
