UX Mobility is now online!
We are thrilled to share the digital version of our new book, UX Mobility, developed in collaboration with our research foundation, Transform Transport.
UX Mobility explores how user experience (UX) design can transform urban mobility planning by moving beyond one-size-fits-all solutions to incorporate the needs and preferences of many diverse users.
With the advent of hybrid cities and the emerging role of digital urban environments in supporting the physical infrastructure of the city, UX Mobility argues for a shift towards a more personalized, many-to-many or one-to-one approach to simultaneously cater to different user personas. Drawing from UX principles, the book highlights ways to improve data collection, service design, and user experience across different urban contexts. It also explores how UX can influence the design of the mobility systems by focusing on delivering positive physical, cognitive, emotional, and sensory experiences within cities, offering a more human-centred and pleasurable urban mobility landscape.
