Open position as:
Communications Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated Communications Assistant to join our dynamic and growing team in Milan promptly, but we're also open to hybrid remote working arrangements. You will have an exciting role working on digital communication and PR for Systematica and its research foundation, Transform Transport.
Main Responsibilities:
Digital Communication:
- Update Systematica and Transform Transport websites regularly
- Write quarterly newsletters
- Manage our social media presence on platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and issuu
- Write social media posts
- Create engaging visual content, including graphics, videos, and presentations, following an editorial calendar
- Set targets for social media accounts and monitor performance through analytics
- Monitor social media pages through analytics
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitors' activities to identify new opportunities for innovation and growth
PR:
- Help organize events to celebrate Systematica's and Transform Transport's milestones with colleagues, collaborators, and clients
- Assist in preparing press kits and conducting regular media outreach
- Help disseminate Transform Transport's scientific research projects online and through events
- Actively support the distribution of self-published books and other publications
Education
Degree in marketing, communication, urban planning, or related field
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of working experience in marketing or communication
Skills
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Video editing skills are a plus
- Good knowledge of WordPress and other web content management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an interest inr storytelling
- Proficiency in Italian and English is a must; knowledge of any other language is a plus
- Detail oriented with a creative mindset
- Capacity to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work effectively in a team
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and intellectual curiosity
- Intellectual curiosity and interest in urban planning, sustainable mobility, and the design of public space
