Senior Transportation Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Transportation Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team in Milan promptly. You will have an exciting and diverse role working on our urban projects while developing your own skills.

Main Responsibilities:

- Preparation of Transport Assessments/Statements/Strategies
- Provide strong traffic and transportation engineering on multi-modal transport, freight, public transport, cycling and pedestrian projects, including contributions to business cases
- Preparation and delivery of travel planning scheme
- Preparation of evidence for public inquiries
- Traffic flow analysis & transport modelling
- Traffic modelling and junction capacity assessments
- Delivery of project to timescale & budgetary specifications
- Site appraisals and feasibility studies
- Delivery of high-quality technical reports
- Management of small and medium scale projects
- Management of small and medium work groups
- Identify new business opportunities and pro-actively keep abreast of the latest developments in your field of expertise
- Auditing, peer reviewing and due diligence activities
- Liaison with clients/contractors and local / national authorities providing high quality technical advice and identifying innovative solutions to solve real-world challenges
- Transferring knowledge to junior team members
- Positive working relationships with our clients and colleagues, working in a dynamic team environment alongside like-minded planners, engineers, modellers, and designers
