Mayra joined Systematica in November 2023 as a Mobility Consultant. She is currently working on developing mobility strategies at the master plan level and providing design support at the urban design level and in complex buildings. She has been involved in complex international projects, mainly in Saudi Arabia, in various development stages.
During her academic years, she has developed an interest in Urban Planning and the importance of sustainability in facing the pressing challenges of climate change. She has been part of an undergraduate scientific research program that allowed her to develop skills focused on scientific methodology and spatial and data analysis in an urban context with GIS. Therefore, she has chosen studies and subjects within her dissertations that involved analytical and in-depth research on current environmental challenges, such as urban resiliency in the face of flooding events and circular economy, which led to the development of macro and micro-sustainable strategies at a spatial level.
