Vittoria Attardi joined Systematica in 2020 as an Urban Planner.
She has since been active as a transport consultant working on different scale projects from master plans to street design, mainly focusing on mobility strategies and walkability. Her background in climate change and urban resilience has added value in the elaboration of sustainable pedestrian strategies and climate streetscape management within the urban context.
Interested in urban sustainable development and aware of how critical climate change in urban development is, she enrolled in a 2nd Level Specializing Master in Climate Change at Politecnico di Torino in January 2020.
Her professional goal is to develop projects and tools for more resilient cities in an era of environmental emergency thanks to infrastructure and technology to improve citizens’ quality of life.
Being a technology enthusiast, she developed her master thesis, which originated from her participation in the European Nomadic Biennal of Arts, Manifesta 12, studying lighting pollution and researching cleaner and energy-saving urban smart lighting technologies to create beauty, safety, and energy sustainability.
