Future ShanShui City – Dwellings in Lishui Mountains International Urban Design Competition

Systematica as part of the international team of UNStudio and GROSS MAX landscape architects is shortlisted for the Future ShanShui City – Dwellings in Lishui Mountains International Urban Design Competition. 

Lishui is a perfect example of ShanShui city: its location, within stunning river and mountains landscapes, gives the opportunity for its residents to live in both a growing metropolis and in harmony with nature.

Organized by the People’s Government of Lishui City, the International Urban Design Competition Future ShanShui City calls designers from around the world to integrate ShanShui culture into contemporary urban development, explore spatial patterns of future ShanShui cities, and compile an urban panorama of the Ou River banks, the mother river of Lishui. The conceptual urban design scope Dwellings in Lishui Mountains is aimed to set an example of the future ShanShui city in the global perspective.

10 shortlisted teams are now chosen for the second stage.
