Galeries Lafayette Champs-Èlysèes is inaugurated!

Systematica was the mobility advisor for BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) during the competition phase in the creation of a “Retail Laboratory” for French department store Galeries Lafayette, inside a historic Art Deco bank building from 1932 located on Paris’s iconic Avenue des Champs-Élysées.

The recently inaugurated retail laboratory is a hybrid model designed to accommodate different types of events and fashion shows for luxury brands, offering a new urban room for the Parisians through bonding with its surrounding. Systematica has used complex analytical tools and state of the art pedestrian dynamic micro simulation software to ensure high quality user experience, comfort and safety for visitors.
