Sys-News_11-11-03

The mixed-use Capital Development and urban regeneration project, CityLife, is one of the largest city developments that is currently under-construction in the heart of Milan. Consisting of three high-rise buildings, the Project is being erected on the site of the previous Milan City-Fair. The Project is mainly characterized by its globally known authors, Zaha Hadid, Arata Isozaki and Daniel Libeskind, in addition to a number of highly specialized consultants.

Systematica was recently appointed to provide consultancy on parking and pedestrian flow aspects in order to highlight major critical design issues and to optimize the proposed design solutions and General Layout. Furthermore, the study aims at improving the overall mobility, traffic and circulation-related issues in order to maintain a comprehensive Master Plan vision despite the multiple authors and disciplines involved. Consultancy services will be concluded in a period of six months and will be followed up by a technical support phase for assisting the Developer during procurement and implementation phase.
