Grand Palais de Paris: Systematica Appointed for the Competition by LAN Architecture
Systematica was appointed by the architectural firm LAN Architecture to support the design process for the competitive dialogue related to the requalification and the reorganization of the Grand Palais in Paris.
Systematica is carrying out specific consultancy on pedestrian mobility strategies for the redevelopment project of the Grand Palais, one of the most important museum complex, exhibition hall and historical site located at the Champs-Elysées in Paris. In particular, Systematica is developing dedicated pedestrian analysis with the aid of sophisticated dynamic modelling as well as providing support to set out strategies for the logistic dimension and all delivery movements of the building.
The competitive dialogue will last 8 months and it will be awarded on January 2014 by the Jury, chaired by Jean-Paul Cluzel, president of Réunion des Musées Nationaux-Grand Palais.
