Feasibility Study of the Blue and Green BRT Lines in Vicenza

Systematica is part of the winning multi-disciplinary team led by NET Engineering for the tender for the Technical-Economic Feasibility Project of the blue and green Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lines in Vicenza. Other partners include Architecna Engineering s.r.l. and Andrea Spinosa.

The two BRT lines, whose design work has just started, are part of the Municipality of Vicenza Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP), favoring smooth and sustainable public mobility. 

The Technical- Economic Feasibility Project, in compliance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Sustainable Infrastructures and Mobility, aims to identify the infrastructural and non-infrastructural interventions along the road axis under study, and the most suitable technology for the vehicles to improve the performance of public transport service, in terms of speed, capacity, reliability, regularity, increased frequency, lower emissions, quality, attractiveness, and accessibility.

The project also entails the preparation of useful documents for the ministerial application to access dedicated funding.
