Kick-Off for MyTown Wayfinding and Signage, Kuala Lumpur
The Kick-off meeting for the wayfinding and signage project for “MyTown” was held in June in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Currently under construction, MyTown is a development by IKANO BSBN and T&T. It will be one the main retail centres of the Malaysian capital city and, together with the related mixed-use complex, will represent an important and attractive destination for people living and visiting Kuala Lumpur.
During the Kick-off meeting, the Concept Design proposal for MyTown wayfinding and signage, developed by Systematica in collaboration with Penguin Cube, was presented along with all relevant issues, main strategies and alternative design proposals, conceived by the international team in this initial phase of the project.
Systematica is the leader company of the work team appointed with the wayfinding and signage project for MyTown and its expertise was fundamental for the study of the spatial configuration of the entire complex through specialized software as design tool to define, among others, the ideal location for the signs.
