Lombardini22 and Systematica for Two New Bridges in Milano

On December 18th, the first of the two bridges designed by Lombardini22 was placed on Naviglio Grande, the biggest water canals of Milano. Systematica participated with Lombardini22 to the competition advertised by Metropolitana Milanese in 2012 and their proposal was awarded the first prize.

The bridge is a unique piece of steel long 21.6m and links Ripa di Porta Ticinese con l’Alzaia Naviglio Grande; it is part of a biggest requalification project undertaken for EXPO 2015 and involving the whole area of Navigli.
