Mykolaiv Concept Masterplan Presentation

One Works and One Works Foundation recently presented the Mykolaiv Concept Masterplan to Mayor Oleksandr Syenkevych during a ceremony co-hosted by Germany and Ukraine in Berlin at the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2024).

Systematica is proud to support One Works and One Works Foundation, devising a mobility strategy for this project, which is part of the UN4UkrainianCities initiative that is guided by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).

Our contributions to the mobility strategy’s second phase include:

-Redirecting heavy traffic impact: A new bridge and bypass road were introduced to reroute freight traffic, minimizing disruption to urban areas and residential neighborhoods while promoting pedestrian-friendly streets.

-Enhancing intermodality: Integrated railway systems with park-and-ride facilities and public transport to improve neighborhood connectivity and eliminate infrastructure barriers.

-Creating a sustainable transport system: Developed an integrated, flexible, environmentally sustainable public transport network with citywide connections, including a water transport system, and implemented mobility hubs to foster seamless intermodal transportation.
