Riviera Galleria

Systematica is part of the multi-disciplinary team led by Kengo Kuma & Associates and awarded the 1st prize in the Lamda Development design competition for the Riviera Galleria in Athens, Greece.

The 22,000 sqm project will offer visitors multifaceted, high-end shopping of leading brands, high-level gastronomy, and entertainment experiences, including a wide range of cultural and recreational events.

Systematica worked on the mobility proposal and developed the multi-modal access strategy, parking and logistics strategies and design layout, internal circulation, wayfinding, and vertical connections strategies to ensure a high-quality user experience.

The mobility proposal ensured a clear and efficient circulation and access system, especially for pedestrians. Traffic calming measures were implemented on the ground floor to ensure safe access from parking floors to the building. In addition, the mobility proposal included the implementation of cycling lanes and bike parking to encourage and facilitate the shift towards active mobility.
