My Town Shopping Centre

The My Town-IKEA development project is a retail-led mixed-use development that consists of approximately 100,000 sqm GLA of retail, residential and office land use with underground and aboveground parking areas for more than 5,000 parking places. The project is located in proximity to a major motorway, Jalan Tun Razak, connecting Kuala Lumpur City Centre to the southern peripheries.

Systematica is appointed by Boustead-Ikano Sdn. Bhd. (BISB) to undertake a Peer review of the current Traffic Impact Assessment prepared locally for assessing the proposed methodology and results through a scientific-and-evidence-based tools. Moreover, Systematica is appointed to provide a car parking engineering study that consists of parking design review and traffic simulations and modelling.

Design work is being carried out in strict coordination with IKEA consultants and specialists since underground parking areas are seamlessly connected and parking management and access system and revenue controls are commonly operated and drop off areas are commonly used. Systematica works in concert with a number of other specialist consultants among which are Turner & Townsend (Project Management) and Broadway Malyan (Lead Architects).

T.I.S and Car Parking Engineering Study are carried out in full coordination with IKEA specialists and other key-stakeholders of one of the major retail destinations of Malaysian capital city.
