Supporting accessible mobility at a world-class entertainment destination through an end-user focused approach
Delta B is one of the major clusters composing the brand new entertainment city of Qiddiya, KSA. The city is envisioned as a world-class entertainment destination immersed in an inspiring urban context and a breathtaking natural setting.
At the heart of the development lies Anime World, envisioned as a groundbreaking benchmark for global themed entertainment and anime culture. Anchored by the Anime Hub, the district connects five theme parks and Naruto Village with a network of hospitality, retail, and residential destinations designed to create a seamless and highly engaging visitor experience.
Given the scale and complexity of the development, mobility plays a critical role in ensuring safe and high-quality movement across the district for visitors, residents, employees, and service operations.
Systematica joined the multidisciplinary design team led by 5+design from the concept design phase and continued its involvement through the Detailed Masterplan (DMP) stage.
Our role focuses on developing an integrated mobility strategy centered on the end-user experience, ensuring comfort, safety, and operational performance across the district.
The proposed strategies support:
- Multimodal accessibility and seamless site access
- Pedestrian-oriented public realm design
- Public transport and micromobility integration, to reduce car dependency and carbon emissions
- Internal circulation and mobility hierarchy development
- Parking strategy and supply optimization
- Crowd distribution within the Anime Hub
